Content Review & Anti-Gambling Policy
Operational policy governing permitted software, advertising restrictions, and zero-tolerance prohibitions on real-money gaming.
In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules and relevant Indian state gaming enactments, Yono Games strictly excludes online real-money games, wagering applications, paid fantasy sports involving staking, and games offering direct cash prizes or withdrawals.
1. Prohibited Application Categories
The following categories of software are permanently barred from our repository:
- Any game requiring monetary deposits, entry fees, or staking to play for monetary returns.
- Applications offering "instant cash withdrawals" to UPI, Paytm, or bank accounts.
- Color prediction, roulette, virtual betting, or dice betting software.
- Deceptive financial investment schemes disguised as casual gameplay.
- Software attempting to bypass Google Play Protect or side-load malicious payloads after installation.
2. No Disguised or Proxy Listings
Yono Games enforces zero tolerance against proxy or "cloaked" applications. A developer may not publish an apparently neutral casual game that subsequently updates itself over-the-air to enable real-money wagering or betting features. Any application observed altering its core functionality after review is immediately banned and reported.
3. Advertising and Promotion Prohibitions
Editorial content, listings, and search results on Yono Games are prohibited from displaying:
- Claims of guaranteed earnings or income generation from gaming.
- Invented sign-up bonuses, promo codes for cash deposits, or referral bounties.
- Misleading countdown timers, artificial scarcity, or manufactured urgency.
- Fabricated user ratings, fake download numbers, or invented security badges.
4. Permitted Game Classes
Yono Games welcomes:
- Free-to-play and offline casual, puzzle, arcade, racing, and simulation games.
- Traditional board and card games designed purely for family entertainment with no monetary wagering.
- Indie developer releases distributed under documented permission or open-source licenses.
